Senior Accounting Specialist (Billing)

Job Description

Responsible for leading the team performing services billing to customers
Understanding and application of Project Management Administration
Responsible for building detailed excel-based models for prospective acquisition targets to determine whether they create shareholder value. These models will be based on templates and will need to conform with Temenos modelling guidelines.
Produce various Investor Relations materials for internal and external use, such as monthly shareholder analysis and quarterly investor presentations.
Assist with monitoring the activity of Temenos’ key competitors and other companies in the software/ IT services sector. Responsibilities would include writing daily summaries of overnight news in the sector/ new analyst reports and maintaining and updating basic financial models on competitors.
Monitors processing of license and maintenance invoicing on behalf of regional finance;
Assistance with consolidation process (e.g., entering of exchange rates for entities, uploading legal entity data into consolidation books, analysis of specific accounts such as FOREX, cash by currency, capital expenditure)
Reconciliation of AR to GL, AP to GL and PA to GL for all entities
Ensure complete documentation of processes handled by the team and compliance with ICS requirements
Ad hoc treasury assistance (e.g., investigation of historical data of receivables and payables)
Responsible for Oracle documentation, including updating and maintenance of user guides
Ad hoc tasks at quarter ends (analysis of operating costs, accrued/deferred gross up)
Monitoring of ad hoc tasks (e.g., input of certain sizeable AP invoices for travel etc).
Provides inputs and support to bring in processes and help to grow the team
